In class writing one

My senior year ruined reading and writing for me. Over the summer before school even started we, as incoming seniors, were required to read three books. Each of the books were written in old English and extremely difficult to read. One book in particular was around 800 pages. Having to read these in the summer, along with another book and 10 writing assignments for my AP psychology class, ruined the reading experience for me. When I was younger however, I used to love to read, now its just a hassle unless it is a book I am truly interested in.
Writing on the other hand is slightly different. I have never been the greatest writer and have never been excited to write any sort of paper in particular. I usually do my best work the night before its due. One class in particular especially ruined writing for me, and it was in fact the class hat ruined reading for me as well, AP Literature. At the end of the year we had what was called a senior exit project. This project had to be a paper that was eight plus pages in length. Now, I am not someone who likes to write novels and this seemed a bit excessive, but I worked hard to complete this writing assignment. When I got my nine page paper back I was not happy with the grade, to say the least. This was my worst writing experience I have ever encountered.
