The production and sale of cigarettes should not be prohibited because it is the persons choice if they want to smoke. No one is telling them that they have to smoke, they make that decision on their own. Going into the choice, they know it is a bad thing to do and that it can kill you but they still choose to do so. Also, it would be a good thing to legally prohibit the production and sales of cigarettes. It could save millions of peoples lives and not have to worry about them killing them or causing them harm. I am in the middle with this question because people should have the choice if they want to smoke or not but at the same time it is killing millions of people around the world each day. Another reason maybe why they should not prohibit is because many people would loose their jobs. It may not only be about smoking but also people loosing their jobs. When it comes down to it, it is a hard decision to make.
