Another kind of negative reading experiences is when I am handed a prompt that involves writing a paper after reading it, if I don't understand the prompt, which some of my teachers I have had did a terrible job at putting the assignment down on paper, I have to read it over and over and over again...

In class writing 1
Reading doesn't exactly come easy for me for several reasons. If I were to describe negative reading experiences I would have to say most of them come from in class reading assignments where teachers assign sum 30+ pages of reading a night for some god awful book that I'm not interest in. That's when it becomes difficult because I most of the time don't care for the book because it doesn't spark even the slightest interest and due to that I can stay focused. If I don't care for the book I will often read a passage, turn the page, and completely forget what I just read... Which means I have to go back and read it again and well, thats just no fun. So in conclusion, if it's a book I don't care for, 99% of the books assigned in classes, I just resort to the good ol' spark notes. [:
